Some Notes on Queer Theory and/or Queer Politics

Since I believe that one of the most serious tasks in today's thinking and theory is precisely the task of re-defining, re-understanding, re-writing and re-reading of the concept of politics and/or the political, in this presentation I will focus on the issue of theorizing politics not in the sense of any concrete political theory and not in the sense of state and government oriented studies, but in the wider sense of questioning relation between individual/singular being and community.

Moreover, starting with the idea that it is precisely the queer politics that offers a “new” model of social bond based on solidarity that doesn’t concern only queer community and that isn’t identity oriented, I would like to question what is queer and what kind of political alliance and action does it facilitate?
